Chapter 25. Stress Option A Express Feelings or Stress Option B Accept Feelings?

Of the four stress options, you already know to choose Stress Option A or B when under stress. But, of those two, which do you choose. Is one better than the other? The answer is "Yes!" and here are the guidelines for determining which Stress Option to use at any given time.

Expressors (those with feelings to express) usually choose Stress Option A.

If your Receptor accepts your feelings, choose Stress Option A, express your happiness and continue on to the Affection Step.

If your Receptor rejects your feelings, choose either Stress Option A or B.

If your Receptor continues to reject your feelings after several attempts with Stress Option A or B, choose Stress Option B with Exit.

Receptors usually choose Stress Option B.

If your Expressor rejects your acceptance, choose either Stress Option A or B.

Whatever Stress Option you choose, you can't make a mistake as long as it's A or B. One will always be the wiser choice but neither will ever be wrong! So, don't be concerned about which one to use. If you don't know for sure, choose either one. Chances are you'll choose the wiser of the two.
